Education

With collaboration with high school counselors, LEO will be awarding scholarships to deserving high school students interested in the field of law enforcement.

Training
In the past, LEO has offered workshops detailing the entire hiring pathway for law enforcement careers. This workshop has been a practical primer for those seeking job opportunities, as well as those agencies that are interested in understanding what new applicants are facing.

Additionally, LEO has provided workshops on interviewing, background preparation, career options and educational requirements for various careers in both law enforcement and corrections.

Currently, LEO is developing a new curriculum with the focus being on the recognition of bias and diversity training for agencies and POST certified individuals.

We offer other guidance through mentorship and individual contact.

Consulting
LEO provides direct consulting to agencies on areas such as hiring, protected status recruiting cultural understandings and retention issues. Also, we will assist in designing alternative strategies for attracting a special workforce as well as assist in direct recruiting for an agency.

Fees
Fees for services are very reasonable and go directly towards the LEO scholarship fund. Personal instructor expenses such as mileage, hotels and meals will be charged at cost.

Your involvement and contributions are significant to the success of Law Enforcement Opportunities. By participating as a volunteer, registering as a vendor in our Annual Law Enforcement Opportunities Career Fair, and making charitable donations, you assist our efforts to make these services available.
