  • Provide education to communities of color and women regarding career opportunities within law enforcement and corrections
  • Assist law enforcement and corrections agencies in the successful recruitment of these populations
  • To provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships to eligible applicants interested in pursuing careers in law enforcement or corrections.  Scholarship monies are used to fund eligible applicants' related training and education expenses

LEO would like to thank Mall of America for partnering with them by helping to award  a special scholarship in addition to those that LEO offers every year.  This special scholarship is the Steve Cannon Award and honors the late Steve Cannon, a former Simon Properties (MOA) employee and long time valued LEO Board Member.  We invite you to visit the Mall’s website by clicking on their icon below, and for more info on Steve Cannon and the Steve Cannon award, click here.
