LEO would like to invite you to participate as a vendor in the 21st Annual Law Enforcement Opportunities Career Fair. The 2012 LEO Career Fair will be held at Hennepin Technical College and Metropolitan State University’s Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Education Center on March 15, 2012. The Career Fair provides a tremendous opportunity for attendees to meet representatives from law enforcement, criminal justice, corrections and higher education to learn about career and educational opportunities in these professions, and the required training and education. Representatives from local, county, state and federal law enforcement, criminal justice, corrections agencies and higher education institutions will recruit and provide information on job openings and educational requirements. This event is open and free to the public.
Your involvement is significant to the success of the Annual Law Enforcement Opportunities Career Fair and to the success of our organization!
Inform potential applicants about your organization's licensed and non-licensed career/educational opportunities and the education/training required for these professions.
Gain a better understanding of the existing skill, experience and education levels of women and persons of color interested in pursuing careers in law enforcement, criminal justice, and/or corrections.
Recruit qualified persons for positions in your organization.
Includes one eight foot table, two chairs and two boxed lunches. Your organization's name will be included on LEO Career Fair advertisements. Your organization will be recognized at the Career Fair. Co-sponsors will receive priority placement, i.e. wall space and electrical outlet (if needed). A link to your organization's website will also be placed on LEO's home page for one year (if desired.) Plus, a chance for promotion of your organization's opportunities for women and persons of color will be available for one year by email contact (through LEO) to our premium bulk list. This list consists of qualifying LEO Scholarship applicants who have agreed to participate on this list. to diversifying the law enforcement, criminal justice, and correction professions, and this commitment has resulted in the development of a yearly scholarship opportunity.
Our goal is to provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships to individuals interested in pursuing careers in law enforcement, criminal justice, or corrections.
Eligible applicants may receive up to $1000.00*
in scholarship money to fund their education and training.
*This amount is subject to change without notice, as it is dependent on donations raised and/or vendor participation
